Ocean State Job Lot’s Food Bank Program

Accepting Donations through Friday, December 17

As part of its annual holiday drive, the Sangha has once again decided to contribute to Ocean State Job Lo’t food bank program.  We’ve been very generous in past years; last year we collected over $1,500.  The money goes to the Northeastern New York Regional Food Bank in Latham.  OSJL will match our donations dollar for dollar and all the proceeds go to relieve hunger in the Capital Region.

Donations can be made in one of two ways:  1.) Go directly to an OSJL store with your check or credit card.  You will need to provide the store with your driver’s license number.   Or 2.) As we did last year, make your check payable to Dorothy Vieira, who will then deposit it in her personal account and issue her check for the total Sangha contributions, using her license number.  Unfortunately, people who write checks payable to Dorothy cannot claim their donations for tax purposes. This donation process is OSJL policy.   Dorothy’s address is 1267 Garner Avenue, Schenectady, NY 12309.  Email (dorovie@aol.com) or phone (518 346-1979) her if you have any questions.  Please send donations by Friday, December 17.
