EPUMC Project: Blessing Bags

Beginning May 1, 2022, the Eastern Parkway United Methodist Church (EPUMC) will be collecting small items to put in gallon sized Ziploc bags for anyone in congregations to take and give out as needed to people we all encounter on the streets.

The EPUMC is requesting donations of: personal hygiene items/toiletries (hotel or travel size), first aid items, feminine hygiene items, box juice, hard candy/gum, $5-10 gift cards (they are asking that no chocolate be donated because it melts easily).  Each bag will include a small card telling who is donating the bag (EPUMC/ Kingfisher/ St. John).

Trish has asked that if you want to contribute, please drop donations off to the church when the Sangha is there, or to drop items off at her house prior to June 12. EPUMC will will be meeting at 11:00 on Sunday, June 12th to fill some bags in their OR Room down at the end of the education wing.  All are invited to join!  People may also opt to assemble their own bags and drop them off.  The Church has lots of granola bars they will be contributing for all to include in the donation bags.  Contact Trish via email for more information.
